Learn Freestyle Soccer tricks in a few steps

Freestyle soccer is too fun to play. When you got addicted of it you can never gave it up like other drugs addictions. But its better and a healthy addiction. It helps specially to remove the thirst of football when there is no one in the ground for play.

Here are a few steps in which I will guide you , so, that you can become an awesome freestyle footballer.
As in my early article "Brief discusion on Free style and its Tricks" I had already told that to become a freestyle soccer player it needs a great patience and hard workout and practice. Because practice makes a man perfect. so , lets start our coach to become a great freestyler.
  • Find a proper place where you can concentrate and grab a ball ,not pumped too hard.
  •  1st things is to get master the skills in juggling. So, start juggling. The main point in juggling is to keep the ball below hips and put a backward spin in the ball. it will help you to increase the control on the ball and will also help to speed up your legs. Practice juggling each day for an hour. Continue this routine for 20days. when you are assured that your are now master in juggling then proceed to the next step otherwise stay with it. and never give up..


  • Once you mastered the juggling skills then practice the basics of freestyle like stalling the ball. By stalling I mean to balance the ball on foot (pull the ball back as if your are about to start juggling, but inspite of that hold it on your foot). This is the most basic trick if you mastered it , it will lead you towards the other harder and cool tricks as you see which freestylers do.






  • The other basic trick as ATW i.e Around The World. Around the world means to flick the ball up and then go around it and after when you are finished then start juggling.it is not as easy as it sounds. For this trick you need a great speed and again a great patience. You should begin with the motion of it, and try doing it as quick as possible. Practice this for an hour a day for about 1 months. You will master this in the given time ,if you concentrate on it.But this trick much more harder than juggling so you need aa big patience. (this trick can be done from juggling or from a stall, In both cases you should start going around the ball ,right after you flick it up. For juggling ATW ball should be hit from the right side of foot for right legged people, and from the left side of  foot for left legged people.)

  • Another basic trick that will make you discourage at first but later you will be a master in it and that  is the neck stall. Similar to foot stall, you can balance it on your neck. this trick can be done from a foot stall, flick the ball up about half a meter higher than your head. Then cushion the ball on your neck keeping you back straight on a 90 degree angle and keep your arm pointing back keeping your elbows straight. The key move in this trick is to cushion the ball on your neck, i.e you take the power of the ball away by going down at the same time as the ball only a bit slower than it, so, the power can be absorbed to your back/neck. Practice this trick  for an hour each day till two weeks are past and you will perfect it. This trick is easier than ATW.
  • After mastering these tricks then try to combine all these tricks and step up your game. For example Begin by juggling then move towards a foot stall, then do ATW, followed by another foot stall and then a neck stall. If you are able to do all these three moves and keep the ball off the ground, you are going to get the honor.
These were some main and basic tricks I will get you other freestyle tricks like step-over and dribbling etc too but later. I hope you would have found it helpful.
